Long Overdue

Haven't been on this thing in a while (not that anyone noticed). Just read Duane Swierczynski's great account of the Pulp Fiction Expo in Manhattan this past Sunday. Feel pretty rotten about missing it, especially since I was only a few blocks away helping my mother-in-law move. Saw Adam Rapp's excellent American Sligo at the Rattlestick Theater on Waverly on Saturday -- Worth checking out. On Monday, I was there to see the Yanks get eliminated, which sucked a goddamn egg. I've only been to two postseason games in my life: Game 7 of the 2004 ALCS and Game 4 of the 2007 ALDS. Enough said. Heartbroken, coughing. Torre better not get fired. Just finished a story called "Hard Cross," and I'm working on some kind of play. Spinning The Boss's damn great new record.
